Organize that Speech Room! {TPT Materials}

Confession: I have A LOT of speech therapy materials. I also "inherited" a very full speech room. When I switched room at the end of last year, I found so many materials that I forgot about (or that I didn't even know existed)!

Spreadsheets
After that, I decided to keep track of my materials using a spreadsheet. (A "Materials" sheet is included in this freebie.) The spreadsheet is especially helpful when lesson planning, especially if I'm feeling burnt out on the materials that I have been using. I just search for the skill that I want to work on, and I have a quick overview of the materials I can use.

In addition to creating a "materials inventory," I have found some other ways to help keep track on materials....

Rolling Carts

I use these carts to store a number of Super Duper decks. They are also the perfect size for Jenna Rayburn's interactive books. I sort them by theme/topic, so it's easy to find what I'm looking for.

Wall Storage
My most frequently used therapy rewards and visuals get pinned on the wall.

Storage for TPT Cards

I haven't decided which "system" I like best, so I have a few organizers that I use.

I bought this fun box from Michaels, and I use it to keep miscellaneous TPT products. Don't forget to look of for Michaels' awesome coupons. I got mine when it was 60% off!
I also found this index card organizer at Staples, and I also use it to store TPT products.
I also bound these little guys at Joann's. It doesn't look like they are listed on their website, but they were only a few dollars. Perfect size for Cariboo cards!

Storage for TPT Packets

I also use these plastic document files and poly envelopes to store bigger materials. The smaller envelopes are perfect for Teaching Talking's Interactive Vocabulary Activities.

Binders

I put together binders with grab-and-go materials. Here is a snapshot of what I keep in some of the binders...
You can find mind of the materials in my binders on my Pinterest board.

Digital Files

I feel like I have more options than any SLP would ever need, but--in case I'm still missing something--I have all of my TPT materials organized in folders by topic. It makes it easy to find worksheets or activities.

And there you have it! How do you organize your TPT materials?
