First Post

I'm a speech-language pathologist who works in the schools. I just finished my CFY at an elementary school a few months ago. I learned so much from my students, and I did my best to teach them. We also had a lot of fun along the way. Definitely feeling like all that grueling work in grad school was worth it. I love this job!

Now I'm fully enjoying my summer off. I'm spending a lot of time learning new recipes, making mini adventures, and *drum roll* starting a blog!

So why am I starting this blog? I really want to share what I've learned with other SLP's (and to have a platform where I can learn from other SLP's too). I really miss talking to other SLP's about clients/students and other speechie stuff like I did in grad school. Being the only SLP in a school can get a little lonely, but I thought starting a blog might help with that! I also LOVE to create speech therapy materials, and I spent many hours putting together materials during my CF. I'd love to use this blog as a way to share those materials with you.

So here goes nothing... :)
